These terms apply to the Clarity app for Android. They add to the general Litlabs Studio Terms & Conditions, which also apply. If the two conflict, these Clarity terms take priority for Clarity.
Clarity Pro
Clarity is free to use. Clarity Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks more blocks, per-app limits, multiple routines and sync across phones.
- Plans: yearly or monthly subscription. We may also offer a one-time lifetime purchase from time to time. Current prices are shown in Google Play and in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Billing: charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal: renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Free trial
New subscribers to the yearly plan can try Clarity Pro free for 7 days. The monthly plan and lifetime purchase have no free trial. We remind you before the trial ends. If you don't cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription. One trial per Google account.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Uninstalling Clarity or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy.
Accounts
An account is optional. If you create one, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has access. You can delete your account at any time under Profile → Delete account.
How blocks work
Clarity relies on Android's usage access and "display over other apps" permissions. Some phone makers, battery savers and Android updates can stop these from working. Clarity is a tool to help you build habits. It can't guarantee that every block will hold in every situation, and it should not be used where blocking an app could put someone at risk.
Emergency exits reset weekly and are not carried over.
